Problem: The OBDSTAR iScan Ducati Motorcycle Diagnostic Scanner is unable to calibrate mileage for a Ducati Scrambler 800 2017. The original mileage should be 2047km, but it always stays on 124218km.
1- I logged out from my account and re login back in.
2- Check for updates
3- Open the app and enter the mileages and the previous error shows up.
4- DSB Error shows up on the dash.
5- I enter the regular app to read the miles and nothing.
OBDSTAR iScan Ducati just gave an error screen:
Execution failed(33- The security access denied)
Possible reasons:
- The device does not request security access.
- The device is not logged in with password.
What’s the problem? Please help.
Solution
- Please confirm you’ve purchased the Odometer Recalibration License before any mileage adjustment.
- Please update software to the latest version.
- Try to calibrate via the first option: Scrambler 800 E3 > 803 > Motorcycle 2015-(User previously selected the 2nd option)
