OBDSTAR is introducing a major software upgrade that adds Locked Bosch MG1/MD1 ECU Read/Write And Unlock support. The update supports multiple Bosch MG1/MD1 ECUs across BMW, FCA, Ford and ISUZU applications, with internal flash/EEPROM read & write, ECU unlock, and checksum verification. This function is available on OBDSTAR X300 Classic G3, DC706, and ECU MASTER.

Why This Update Matters
The new solution allows technicians to complete locked MG1/MD1 ECU read/write and unlock directly at the workshop without sending the ECU away. It is compatible with the RH850/V850 Adapter, supports both PCs and tablets, and requires only minimal capacitor/resistor removal with standardized wiring—only two boot wires need to be soldered, while the adapter automatically adapts the required unlock parameters.
